Security Level Legend
Level 0 – This lock requires no key. It is mainly used to secure openings where security is not an issue, and there would be heavy volume of opening and closings. i.e. literature, shopping bags, etc

Level 1 - Basic Cabinet and Showcase Lock. 5 Pin tumbler, flat key. Entry level security. Features a removable core option.
Level 2 - Features a range of thousands of unique key codes, a key pull feature, and insertable core option. Depending on lock type, Cores can be keyed as Master all the way through Great Great Grand Master. Various handing options available.
Level 3 – This high level of security features hardened, solid machined brass cylinders with hardened steel inserts or case-hardened cylinders that have two independent locking mechanisms, operated by a single key. Depending on lock type, there are no springs or pins to wear, jam or freeze, the mechanism provides a smooth and reliable functionality, excellent resistance against physical attack and maximum resistance to hostile and severe environments. Master and Grand Master Keying options available.
Level 4 – Our highest level of security features the Medeco XT electronic lock, which is part of a complete electronic locking system that allows end users to schedule access, track all access activities and eliminate rekeying costs. Medeco XT keys are electronically programmed to operate only specific locks during a designated schedule. Audit information recorded in both the lock and key shows a record of every authorized access and unauthorized attempted access.
